Customs to send 6 tln rbl to budget in 2019 despite tax reform

ST.PETERSBURG, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Customs Service plans to contribute 5.95 trillion rubles to the budget in 2019 despite a tax reform in the oil industry, Deputy Head of the authority Ruslan Davydov told reporters on Thursday.

“Despite the tax maneuver, we have a plan of 5.95 trillion rubles, almost flat on the year. The tax reform envisages that export duties on energy products will be reduced to zero during six years which is around 16% annually,” he said.

“Last year’s 6 trillion rubles were split into 3 trillion rubles of export and 3 trillion of import duties. If we subtract 16% from the 3 trillion rubles and still have an unchanged target figure we will have to use administrative reserves.”

The service has sent 743 billion rubles to the budget since January 1, the official also said.
